Check out this powerful audio/photo exhibition created from hundreds of conversations with individuals and families experiencing homelessness in Minneapolis. Through striking portraits and first person audio, Homeless is my address, not my name will undoubtedly alter your perceptions of homelessness.

The exhibit features photography by Larry LaBonté and Kris Drake. This project was created through a partnership between Heading Home Hennepin, the Family Housing Fund, and St. Stephen’s Human Services.

Each year, the Minnesota Literacy Council recruits a current VISTA member to become the VISTA Leader for the following year. This person takes on the responsibilities of member support, including trainings, social events, technical assistance, and site visits. This year, we are lucky to have Kimberly Conger join our team!

If you live in MN, you probably heard the news that a record 36 tornadoes were spotted across the state yesterday. Several people were killed; homes, businesses, and farms were damaged. It's a lot to take in... especially if you don't speak English well and come from a part of the world where tornadoes are unheard of.
