The Minnesota Literacy Council can help you find a volunteer position at hundreds of Adult Basic Education sites across Minnesota. We also manage the Open Door Learning Center at six sites throughout the Twin Cities.
Open Door Learning Center offers free adult education classes in Minneapolis and Saint Paul. Classes include ESL, GED, computers, citizenship, math, and employment preparation. Our center provides a welcoming environment, individualized attention, and curriculum aimed at teaching students skills to succeed in work and life. We are always looking for volunteers to teach or assist a class.
To explore volunteer opportunities at each of our six locations, follow the links below. If you have any questions about volunteering, feel free to contact us at email@example.com. We can arrange a time for you to visit our centers, talk to the coordinators, and observe classes.
