Twin Cities Summer Reads Positions

  • Summer Reads VISTA - Twin Cities & Metro Area - (June 10 - August 4, 2019) Help children improve their literacy and gain the joy of reading. Use your creativity to engage kids in learning activities that will keep their minds sharp! [These positions have been filled for 2019.]

  • Summer Reads VISTA - Outreach Specialist - (2 positions) (June 3 - August 11, 2019) Use your experience tutoring or teaching children to provide peer mentoring to first-time VISTAs, while making a lifelong impact on kids' reading skills this summer. [These positions have been filled for 2019.]

Twin Cities Summer Reads Host Sites

​In the Twin Cities, candidates first apply to the Summer Reads program. If offered a position, they will be matched to a host site and notified in late May. Candidates may make requests for site placement at the time of the interview. 2019 host site locations:
