Our Beyond Words Bash is the literacy event of the year.
From success in school and finding a job to raising a family and fully contributing to your community, the impact of literacy goes beyond words. And at our annual Beyond Words Bash, our supporters help us take its impact even further.
On April 19, 2018, the crowd at our inaugural Beyond Words Bash was treated to a captivating performance by three-time Grammy Award-winning singer and human rights activist, Angélique Kidjo, at the Solar Arts Building. With KARE 11’s Rena Sarigianopoulos at the helm as the event's illustrious emcee, we honored PCs for People, a local nonprofit, and Ruth Harpole, a long-time donor and volunteer, for their invaluable contributions to literacy.
Thanks to the incredible generosity of our guests, the evening's live auction and fund-a-need raised nearly $40,000 for our literacy programs. The night ended with a dynamic performance by Duniya Drum & Dance. Check out our 2018 Bash photos and featured video.
