Learning Disabilities affect 1 in 5 individuals. An often misunderstood disorder, learning disabilities can interfere with a person’s ability to speak, listen, read, write, spell, reason, recall, organize information, and do mathematics. This session, led by Mary Beth Kelley from LDA Minnesota, will cover the basic definition and symptoms of learning disabilities and provide an understanding to tutors on signs and symptoms to watch for in children and adults. Additionally, some suggestions for strategies will be discussed.
There is no charge for this training.
