Minnesota Literacy Council wins 2012 Dot.Org Award

On March 16, we were presented with one of four Dot.Org Awards at the Minnesota Council of Nonprofits' Technology and Communications Conference. Our new site, mnliteracy.org, won the award for best website redesign. It was well-deserved recognition of our staff’s dedication throughout the two year design process.

Highlights of the new site include improved navigation and teaching and learning tools for our key constituents: volunteers, educators and students. And the updated interface of our Adult Literacy Hotline makes it even easier for Minnesotans to find free classes across the state. These improvements – and more – were made possible by funding from the Wells Fargo Foundation. We’re grateful for their support of technology and education.
