Minnesota Literacy Council - VISTA Leader (St. Paul) (1 position available) Do you have a year of experience as a service member? Build leadership skills by providing training, support, and resources to a statewide corps of 20 year-long Literacy Leaders and 50 summer VISTAs. Apply here

University of Minnesota - MN Youth Story Squad (Minneapolis) Minnesota Youth Story Squad addresses educational opportunity gaps and amplifies voices through storytelling to engage school-aged youth in the Twin Cities. Eden Prairie Schools Community Education - Family Literacy (Eden Prairie) Build a Family Literacy Program to serve immigrant families—both parents and young children—in the Eden Prairie community. The Literacy Leader will facilitate collaboration among key partners and guide the continued development and refinement of the program.

Greenvale Park Community School - Early Learners (Northfield) The Greenvale Park Community School mobilizes community resources and partnerships to offer free, out-of-school-time programming for students and families to boost academic success and build a sense of community connectedness. The Community School Literacy Leader serves to nurture and develop new partnerships, increase early learning and family engagement opportunities, and recruit volunteers to ensure quality programming.
International Institute of Minnesota - Curriculum and Outreach (St. Paul) The English for Work department at the International Institute of Minnesota (IIM) provides free, high quality English language education to non-native English adult speakers. The Literacy Leader at IIM will develop curriculum to meet student needs, connect with community members to increase funding and recruit and train volunteers to best meet student needs.
Milestones - Family Engagement (Waite Park) The Family Engagement Project is working to support school readiness by bringing literacy and social/emotional activities to families. The Literacy Leader will research and develop this program with many partners in the greater St. Cloud area and gather data and feedback on the project to guide continuous quality improvement.
Minnesota Literacy Council - Access VISTA (St. Paul) Join the Minnesota Literacy Council’s dynamic adult literacy outreach and training team! Develop initiatives in universal design and accessibility to support inclusion of learners and volunteers with disabilities at Adult Basic Education (ABE) sites across Minnesota.
Neighborhood House - Youth Literacy (St. Paul) Be a part of a helping tradition that spans 3 centuries. Assist the next generation of leaders by improving the opportunities of under-served youth. You can be a key to unlocking their potential.
Northfield Community College Collaborative - Program Development (Northfield) The Northfield Community College Collaborative provides post-secondary opportunities with guided support to students pursuing their Associate of Arts degree. Work with us to create a robust tutoring program, form partnerships with local employers, and build capacity to help promote literacy and move our students out of poverty.

Urban Strategies - Heritage Park Literacy (Minneapolis) The Heritage Park Literacy Leader will design and launch new literacy activities, increase volunteer opportunities, and develop an evaluation for our college prep literacy mentoring program and after-school homework help program.
